    First time to this establishment.
First, I love the easy, friendly environment.  Clean, hip and excited to eat the food straight away.

Second, I have to say, being someone that has a lot of experience (when I was much, much younger), I am mostly coming back for Haley, bartender extraordinaire.  She literally greeted me with her green eyes from the host stand even though she was behind the bar!  And I mean a verbal greet WITH EYE CONTACT!  WTF, NO ONE does that anymore-----NO ONE!

Will definitely be back with the wife and kids to show love and appreciation!

    THANKS HALEY!!!!

So, LA isn't known for great pizza and the majority of our options are mediocre or worse. This place has really solid pizza AND a bar AND cool decor. The more important part, of course, is the high quality food. But the other aspects shouldn't be discarded -- pretty sure why I keep coming back.

    Try your pizza crispy.

I'm from the east coast. I love NY pizza. You know... the kind with the thin crust but not too thin. The kind that's perfect for folding. The kind where the crust has the right amount of crunch and softness, and has a flavor all it's own. And to me, one of the most important aspects that makes a great pizza, is the ratio of cheese to sauce. Too many places skimp on the sauce, so all you get is globs of cheese in every bite.

Well my friends, as far as LA goes, this is the holy grail of NY style pizza shops. Vito's has the best of everything, and, the shop feels like a bar and has bench seating too, and lots of sports going on the TVs. Parking is not great but there is a CVS a few doors down that you can probably use. Added bonus... they refer to a whole pizza as a pie. As it should be. Another location on La Cienega that is just as good but has a completely different vibe (it has more of a "pizzeria" feel.

Verdict- Solid pizza, solid beer with a great happy hour.

Food- I got 2 slices of pizza and a beer during happy hour. I did have to ask to have my pizza heated up more because it was lukewarm. But the flavors were amazing and I would def get it again.

Service- Server was amazing, did not get mad when I asked for him to warm it up. Also was knowledgeable about the beers on tap. The place is family friendly, as I think I saw 3 families with kids and babies. Super clean and well-maintained bathrooms.

Definitely not usually a fan of pizza but this place is bomb! Very classic New York, thin crust pizza with a slight crunch on every bite. Pretty affordable for the Santa Monica area too! Keep in mind that the slice size are massive! I can easily get full after 1 pizza but 2 definitely hits the spot. Very cool, hip, vibe for a pizza place to be honest. Probably the only pizza place that give off such an aesthetic. I'd definitely be back
